The ferret community is one that is tightly knitted. These are resources I highly recommend for educational purposes or to purchase raw that I have been a repeat customer. 

Ferret resources

• American Ferret Association. I cannot praise this website enough. Questions on health, ferret shows, ferret breeders, ferret shelters, etc. can be found here.

• Holistic Ferrets. An excellent guide to raw feeding. There is also a Facebook Page!

• The Primal Pack. A great raw feeding resource for many species, including ferrets.

• Ferret Discord. A dedicated ferret Discord server with members from all over the world.
  Ferret Vet Map. A collaboration with other ferret parents in the community. These are vets who see ferrets. If you have a vet who isn’t listed, please add them by doing the questionnaire

Raw suppliers I use

• RodentPro. My go-to for whole prey. I usually get large white-furred mice from here.

• Viva Raw . Great for transitioning ferrets from raw grinds to raw chunked items. I absolutely love their chunk versions for the kits. The flat rate shipping is a bonus!

• Raw Feeding Miami. If you’re looking for variety — this place has it. From balanced grinds, to different proteins that are not very common, etc. this place has it all.
